The Prestige of Retail?
I’m still trying to find a job. I graduated December 3 and it’s been almost…gulp…two months. It did not dawn on me until this morning how much time has passed. Somehow the holidays made it seem shorter. I’ve decided that I’m not ready to commit (nor could I probably find) a full-time, salaried position at this point so I’m going for retail, restaurant, coffee shop, etc. Found this article published two years ago and it was simultaneously comforting and depressing. Thoughts?
